Common questions
What do the colours mean?
Teal: the office is open (business mode).
Cream: daytime, 08:00–18:00.
Light blue: morning or evening.
Dark blue: night, 22:00–06:00.
The orange outline is the hour you picked, and the orange line is now.
How do I set an office's own hours?
Tap the city's name in the grid, then set when it opens and closes and which days it works. Every city starts with 09:00–17:00 on its country's usual working week, for example Sunday to Thursday in Riyadh or Tel Aviv. Setting your own hours is part of Hourgrid Pro.
Which city is "home"?
The top one, marked with a house. The grid's columns follow its hours. To change it, open Places (the list button) and drag another city to the top, or tap a city and choose Make Home.
Are daylight saving changes handled?
Yes. Every city uses iOS's time zone rules, so dates in the weeks when Europe and the US change on different days still line up correctly.
How do I add a widget?
Touch and hold your home screen, tap the + button and choose Hourgrid. The small widget shows each place's time now and also works in StandBy. The medium and large grids are part of Hourgrid Pro.
How do I restore my purchase?
Open Settings from the group menu (top left) and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought with. Family Sharing members get Pro too.
How do I start over?
Settings › Set Up Places Again opens the welcome screens; the places you pick replace your current ones.
